We do not collect, store, or log your photos. Period.
Your Privacy Matters
At Headstyle AI, we believe your face is yours alone. We've built our app with privacy as the foundation — not an afterthought.
What We DON'T Collect
- ✗ Face data or photos — We do not collect, store, or retain facial images or biometric data
- ✗ Personal information — No names, emails, location, or device identifiers
- ✗ Browsing history — We don't track what you do
- ✗ Photo library access — We only access photos you explicitly select
How Photo Processing Works
- You take a photo → Stored locally on your device
- You select a style → Photo is encrypted and sent to our API
- AI processes the image → Transformation happens in real-time
- Result is returned → Image is immediately deleted from servers
- You save the result → Stored locally (optional)
Total server retention time: ~10 seconds
No logs. No backups. No copies. No storage.
AI Partners & Training Data
We use OpenRouter to access AI image generation models. They are contractually bound to:
- ✗ NOT store your photos beyond processing time
- ✗ NOT use your data to train AI models
- ✗ NOT share data with third parties
- ✓ DELETE all data immediately after processing
We've verified their data protection policies to ensure they meet our zero-retention standards.
What We DO Collect (Minimal & Anonymous)
- App crashes — To fix bugs (anonymous, no personal data)
- Feature usage — To understand what's popular (anonymous)
- Device type — iOS version for compatibility (cannot identify you)
This data is anonymous and cannot be linked to you or your photos.
Subscription Data
If you subscribe, Apple processes payment. We receive only:
- Subscription status (active/expired)
- Purchase date (for access control)
We never see your credit card, Apple ID, or personal information.
Your Rights
Since we don't store your data, there's nothing to:
- Request (we have nothing)
- Delete (it's already gone)
- Export (it was never saved)
You can delete all generated images locally by uninstalling the app or clearing them from the gallery.
Children's Privacy
Headstyle AI is rated 4+ and safe for all ages. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children.
